What will you be doing?

We would like somebody with fundraising experience, ample time and the ability to work autonomously, to visit churches, schools and corporate organisations and share about Pursues work to bring on board new donors. We would also like them to be responsible for organising regular specific fundraisers (eg: cake sales/ marathons/ quiz nights/ school events, etc).  The role will be part of the Grants Committee, and is the only one of its kind, so the person must be willing to travel to venues and do presentations alone.

What are we looking for?

Ideally you will:

have at least 3 years experience of fundraising in some capacity. have a good knowledge of the charity sector. possess excellent interpersonal and organisational skills. have the ability to collate and present information aimed at securing donors/funding. be a team player and work independently.

What difference will you make?

Pursue Kenya is almost entirely dependant on funding from the UK. This role will not only help secure longevity of our work but hopefully also help us see growth as we secure funds to increase and add projects.
