Role Summary
- Coordinate with internal maintainers of various SDKs
- Function actively in the development of our packages, with a focus on the Storyblok JS Client and Storyblok CLI
- Review and triage public issues, questions, and pull requests
Role Requirements
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in JavaScript development
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent experience
- Experience as an author and maintainer of open source projects
- A thorough understanding of RESTful and GraphQL APIs, unit testing, integration testing, end-to-end testing, JavaScript/Typescript languages, Node.js, HTML and CSS

As a Developer Experience (DX) Engineer, you will play a key role in enhancing the developer experience for our open-source packages. Responsibilities will include coordinating all the internal maintainers of our various SDKs, working actively on our packages and taking care of the community around them. You will be actively contributing to a number of our packages, especially the Storyblok JS Client and the Storyblok CLI. You will also be reviewing and triaging public issues, questions and pull requests, maintaining high developer experience across all projects.
We are looking for a candidate with a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience as a JavaScript developer. A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science (or a related field) or equivalent experience is required. Demonstrable experience as author and maintainer of open source projects and active involvement and participation in open-source communities is also necessary. Thorough knowledge of RESTful and GraphQL APIs, unit, integration and end-to-end testing, the Vue.js or React ecosystem along with its fundamental principles, JavaScript/Typescript languages and their modern syntax and features, Node.js, HTML and CSS is required.
