What will you be doing?

The University of East London's Professional Mentoring Programme provides an opportunity for employed, self-employed or retired processionals to support, guide and inspire current students and recent graduations over an 8-week mentoring relationship.  The programme is designed to support students and graduates to develop their employability skills and confidence. As a Mentor, you will support your mentee with their goals, which may include:

Developing their interpersonal and employability skills Supporting their understanding of the link between academic studies and career aspirations Exploring career pathways and help them plan their career goals Improving confidence and self-esteem Developing professional networks

How it works: Once you are signed up you will be invited to attend a virtual training session.  You will then be matched with a student based on your expertise and/or sector.  Mentors and mentees will then meet virtually (in-person meetings are optional) for a minimum of 3 hours over the course of 8 weeks.

Psychology Counselling (Life) Coaching Therapists Business Psychology Positive Psychology Child Psychology
