Volunteer Become a trustee for South East and Central Essex Mind: Children and Young People

What will you be doing?

To oversee the strategic engagement of CYP across the SECE mind area To be well versed in CYP policies and practices and implement them within SECE Mind culture and governance. To champion SECE Mind CYP safeguarding issues to the board and committees. To be an ambassador for CYP across the SECE Mind charity and area Participate in SECE Mind CYP programme design and delivery. Oversee and support a CYP advisory programme for the Voice Box (Lived Experience) Support the CEO and board in delivering the new 3 year business plan and ensure quality of delivery for CYP

What are we looking for?

Solid understanding of CYP issues and Mental Health awareness Experience of CYP engagement Experience of CYP programme design and delivery Evidence of CYP advocacy Excellent communication skills and knowledge of CYP social media platforms. Experience of legislative process and practices around CYP Safeguarding of CYP

As part of our board, you will help the charity to develop services, develop income streams and support the new business plan while working alongside communities to make a real different in the lives of local people and their mental health.   Being a trustee for SECE Mind is rewarding, interesting and challenging.
