The Organisation - ISSOS We are an international summer school offering a balanced summer program of academia, fun and culture for 13–18 year olds from over 80 nationalities, at Cambridge University. We aim to provide a high quality, full boarding, international summer school experience, and we believe in offering a well balanced summer program that combines learning, creative enrichment and action-packed adventure.

The Role - Outdoor Leadership Teacher As the Outdoor Leadership Teacher, you will develop and lead a unique 3-week course, which aims to help our students develop and build on essential life skills like communication, decision-making, teamwork and confidence. You will be teaching a class of international students, 3 hours per day, 4 afternoons per week for the duration of the 3-week programme. You will also be involved in creating and delivering lessons tailored to improving students’ confidence and leadership skills in an outdoor setting.

Job Requirements Previous teaching experience is essential. You must have previous experience teaching leadership skills in some capacity and experience in teaching international students is preferred. You must be fluent in English. You must either be a UK or a US citizen, or have the legal right to work in the country you are applying for a role in. Please note that we cannot sponsor visas for working in the UK.

Benefits We offer a salary of £2100 GBP for the session. We also provide accommodation in all locations for all staff. Meals are provided in the halls of residence once students arrive, however, staff are responsible for their meals during Orientation. We also offer up to £150 reimbursed for travel to/from Cambridge.

All of our staff must pass a full criminal background check. All staff are required to be on duty (on a rota basis) for evening programmes, activities, day trips and arrival/departure days.
