Role Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in designing and launching software to production
- Demonstrable expertize in AI/ML engineering, LLM-based systems, search, info retrieval, or data-heavy systems
- Proficiency in contemporary web stack, cloud environments, and Infrastructure-as-code
- Experience leading, managing, coaching, and mentoring engineers

We are looking for an Engineering Manager to join our AI Search Experience team either in Berlin or remotely.
The role: As an Engineering Manager reporting directly to the CTO, you will support a team of engineers working on building high-quality AI-powered search experiences. The AI Search Experience team focuses on grounding LLM responses in trusted data and the open web, tailoring responses to specific user intents and use cases, and continuously improving quality, reliability, and transparency. You will guide architectural decisions, ensure operational excellence, and oversee the development and maintenance of our internal frontend framework stack.
Job requirements: You should enjoy developing and growing people and have a documented history of leading, managing, coaching, and mentoring engineers. A minimum of 5+ years of experience in designing and shipping software to production is required, along with solid technical depth in AI/ML engineering, LLM-based systems, search, information retrieval, or data-intensive systems. Proficiency in a modern web stack, cloud environments, and infrastructure-as-code is also necessary.
