Who We Are: We have built the new way for energy to be transacted. tem exists to fix a creaking energy market. Today's wholesale system is stacked in favor of the few - a relic of the oil and gas era, riddled with markups and middlemen. We're changing that. Our product, RED™, is built on a proprietary pricing engine that bypasses the wholesale market, enabling businesses to buy energy produced by renewable generators directly. That means clear, auditable transactions that ensure affordable bills and fair compensation - giving every business real ownership and control over where their energy comes from. Since launching in 2021, we've saved UK businesses and generators over £25 million, powering a growing network of forward-thinking companies, from Pizza Pilgrims to Silverstone. Backed by top-tier VCs including Atomico and Albion, we're creating a new category in energy - one that's decentralized, direct, and built on trust.
The Role: Do you want to work on one of the biggest problems of our time – how we make energy systems transparent, affordable, and powered by renewables? Energy data underpins everything we do at tem, from pricing intelligence to customer success, and we’re building a team that can turn raw numbers into powerful decisions. We’re looking for a Senior Data Analyst to embed within one of our cross-functional squads, partnering closely with Product, Engineering, Commercial, and Customer Success. This is a high-impact, hands-on role: you’ll own analytics within your domain, help define success metrics, and turn data into actionable insights that shape product direction and commercial outcomes. From analyzing feature impact, to sizing new opportunities, to understanding churn and broker performance, your work will directly influence squad priorities and business performance. You’ll act as the data leader within your squad — proactive, commercially minded, and deeply collaborative — while remaining connected to the wider data community at tem.

Data storytelling: Ability to translate complex analysis into clear, compelling narratives tailored to different audiences. Business understanding: Comfortable with product performance analysis, funnel optimization, churn analysis, commercial sizing, and KPI tracking. Ownership & autonomy: Confident operating independently within a squad, managing priorities and balancing reactive and proactive work.
