Role Summary
- Leading the Property team within the Investments team.
- Managing the South Kensington Estate and other residential and commercial assets in London, and some farms in Cheshire.
- Framing and delivering the investment strategy for direct property assets.
- Optimizing the management of assets by improving processes, data collection, reporting, and monitoring.
- Overseeing the appointment and management of agents and advisers to adhere to high-quality service standards.

The role entails leading the property team within the Investments team reporting to Principal (Buyout & Residential Property). This role is part of the Investments team, and you will be working on the Residential Property Team. This team is responsible for the South Kensington Estate which Wellcome has owned since 1995; various other residential and commercial assets in London and some farms in Cheshire.
Job requirements include framing and delivering the investment strategy for direct property assets, aiming to maximise long-term returns and manage key risks. You'll optimise the management of these assets by establishing an effective operating model and improving processes, data collection, reporting, and monitoring. Additionally, you'll lead and support a team to achieve the annual delivery plan and performance objectives, while overseeing the appointment and management of agents and advisers to ensure high-quality service standards are met.
Benefits include a hybrid way of working which is 3 days in our Euston Road offices (Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday) with the remaining 2 days working either remotely or in the office.
