Volunteer Treasurer and trustee

What will you be doing?

We are currently a small board looking to set up a sustainable, local environmental charity and have already had a number of success stories including setting up the repair cafe, running some bird events for families (nest boxes and owl pellets). We are looking to set up projects including water testing in the river, what people can do in their gardens, educational articles and also launching our website. The position of treasurer is because of a resignation due to lack of time to commit and also trying to grow the charity.

What are we looking for?

Organised with an attention to detail, especially in relation to the finances of the charity. Experience in financial management 

What difference will you make?

The role of Treasurer is extremely important to us - not only do we need someone to keep us on track financially and keep us viable, but even more significantly, we are looking for someone to help us formulate our vision for the future and how we can get there.
