Warehouse Operative

We’re looking for enthusiastic, hands-on warehouse team members to support our warehouse operations in Ongar, near Brentwood in Essex. Under the instruction of the Warehouse Manager, you will be conducting day to day warehouse operations and ensuring all processes run smoothly, including:

• Receiving, inspecting and storing incoming goods, including the completion of the appropriate paperwork
• Reporting any damaged or missing goods to the Warehouse Manager
• Following workplace health and safety rules when handling goods
• Regular stock takes, ensuring that our stock inventory is accurately recorded in our inventory management system, Mintsoft
• Ensuring that stock is properly rotated, minimising wastage
• Relocating products using forklifts, pump trucks and other MHE equipment
• Maintaining a clean and professional facility (warehouse and work areas)
• Ensuring accurate and efficient picking and packing of orders, accompanied by the appropriate regulatory documentation
• Liaising with third party logistics providers to ensure timely order collections and deliveries to customers

Essential Skills And Experience

• Previous experience of warehouse operations
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Strong time management and organisational skills
• Comfortable working at height
• Good computer skills
• Reach truck licence essential
• Order picker Linde V10 certification (training provided if required)

Key Details

• Full time and part time working hours available: Monday to Friday, 8am to 4pm
• Warehouse site based in Ongar, Essex
• Physical role in which you stand, walk, lift and move products up to 30kg
• Own transport essential for travelling to and from work
• Head office in Shoreditch, East London
• Competitive hourly wage: £14 per hour
