Volunteer Treasurer

What will you be doing?

The Club Treasurer plays a crucial role in managing the finances of our rugby club. This role can be a Director/Trustee on the Committee, or reporting to the Committee, depending on the candidate's preference.  You would contribute to strategic planning and recommend financial policies that are appropriate for the club The treasurer is responsible for several key tasks in impact section below. This role is vital in ensuring the financial stability and success of the club. 

What are we looking for?

 Strategic planning and recommend financial policies that are appropriate for the club  Good knowledge of financial practises including bookkeeping, accounting, annual reporting to Companies house, HMRC & Charities Commission Attention to detail with accurate record-keeping, computer and numerical skills    Confident and effective communicator    Well organised and conscientious

This will enable us to analyse & focus on areas where we can both generate more income and cut costs.
