The Role: We're looking for a dynamic, creative and reliable Assistant Curator to help make V&A East’s vision a reality. The Assistant Curator will join our small but ambitious curatorial team where we are reimagining what radical and equitable access to our national collections looks like. They will play a key role in ensuring that we continue to push the boundaries of curatorial practice, finding new and exciting ways to engage our target audiences and open-up our vast collections to our local community. With a keen interest in contemporary artistic, design and performance practice, we are seeking an individual who will work to make V&A East a world-renowned centre for the creation of new work across our various programme streams, commissions and residencies.

Job Requirements: We are looking for applications from those living in, or with significant lived experience of, our surrounding boroughs (Hackney, Newham, Tower Hamlets and Waltham Forest) to help build V&A East for and by the local communities.
