Role Summary - As a Senior Program Manager at TED-Ed, you will be instrumental in driving the incorporation and expansion of the TED-Ed programs globally within schools and education organizations. You will not only help to strengthen existing TED-Ed programs, but also design, launch and scale a new global professional development program for educators.
Role Requirements - The ideal candidate would be passionate about education, possess exceptional communication skills, have proven experience in program management, especially in the education sector, and be adept at building relationships. A deep understanding of K-12 education systems, educator professional development, and relevant industry language is imperative, along with analytical skills to use data for improving the program. Additionally, public speaking and facilitation skills would be required. Collaborative and adaptable traits would be appreciated.

The Role TED-Ed is seeking an experienced Senior Program Manager to drive the global adoption and expansion of the TED-Ed programs in schools, districts and education organizations. In this role, you will help to strengthen and grow our existing TED-Ed programs. You’ll also play a pivotal role in designing, launching, and scaling a new global professional development program for educators.
Job Requirements Passion for education and TED-Ed’s mission to empower students and educators through the sharing of ideas. Exceptional communicator with strong written and verbal skills, able to craft persuasive narratives, proposals, and presentations for diverse education stakeholders. Proven experience in program management (5+ years), leading the design, execution, and scaling of education programs. Expert relationship-builder, with a track record of successfully partnering with school district leaders, principals, superintendents, and non-profit organizations. Deep understanding of K-12 education systems, educator professional development, and relevant industry language. Strategic thinker with the ability to iterate program design based on feedback and data insights. Analytical mindset, skilled in using data to measure impact and inform program improvements. Collaborative and adaptable, thrives in a fast-paced, evolving environment and works well across teams. Public speaking and facilitation experience, confident in leading presentations, training sessions, and workshops for educators and administrators.
