What will you be doing?

We are looking for people with knowledge, skills and experience to join our grants panel, on a voluntary basis. Panel members play an important role in the Community Foundations grant-making. We are keen to hear from people living in Bedfordshire who can demonstrate commitment to local community issues and community development. People with lived experience / professional experience in the following areas are particularly encouraged to apply:

Minoritised communities Mental health Disabilities LGBT+

As a volunteer Grants Panel Member, you will help transform lives across Bedfordshire by ensuring funding reaches those who need it most. Your contribution will:

Direct vital resources to address critical issues like poverty, mental health, inequality and isolation Bring your lived experience and expertise to grant decisions Ensure funding reaches minoritised communities and vulnerable groups Help create a more thriving and inclusive Bedfordshire Support community organisations to develop sustainable solutions

Your role will help local voluntary and community organisations access funding to make lasting positive changes in our communities.
