Role Summary
- Manage internal audit operations in partnership with Country Leadership.
- Promote operational efficiency and fraud prevention in the Growth Unit program comprising Burundi, Tanzania, Malawi, Nigeria, Uganda, and Zambia.
- Strategic planning, implementing the audit plan, and leading a team of audit professionals.
- Support organisational growth by strengthening financial controls.
Role Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in risk-based auditing focusing on operational and financial control.
- Experience managing relationships with senior management and influencing attitudes to embed internal controls across the organization.
- Experience with audit software, including data analytics tools.
- Fluency in both French and English.

About One Acre Fund Founded in 2006, One Acre Fund equips more than 4 million smallholder farmers to make their farms more productive. On average, this model enables any farmer to increase her income and assets on supported land by more than 40 percent, while permanently improving her climate resilience. The Role You will manage internal audit operations in partnership with Country Leadership to promote operational efficiency and prevent/ detect fraud in our Growth Unit program. The Growth Unit comprise of Burundi, Tanzania, Malawi, Nigeria, Uganda, and Zambia. This Manager-level role includes strategic planning, implementing the audit plan, and overseeing a team of audit professionals. You will help support organisational growth by strengthening financial controls.
Job Requirements 5+ years of experience in risk based auditing with a focus on operational and financial control.
