Volunteer Website Developer

What will you be doing?

As a Website Developer volunteer, you will work closely with our marketing and operations teams to design and implement key website features, ensuring the site is user-friendly, engaging, and optimised for performance. You will play an essential role in updating the website to reflect the opening of our charity café, including creating content, integrating donation options, and ensuring the site is aligned with the charity’s overall mission. Key Responsibilities:

Website Design & Development: Redesign and develop pages on the website, including sections dedicated to the charity café, upcoming events, and donation opportunities. Content Updates: Ensure the website reflects current activities, programmes, and the launch of our new charity café, incorporating relevant imagery, copy, and calls-to-action. Collaborate with the Team: Work with marketing and content teams to ensure alignment with our charity’s branding, mission, and goals.

What are we looking for?

Skills & Qualifications:

Proficiency in Wordpress. Strong attention to detail and a creative eye for design. Experience working on e-commerce or donation platforms is a plus. Strong problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot technical issues. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. A passion for supporting children’s education and community initiatives. Experience in website development for non-profit organisations is a plus but not required.
