What will you be doing?
The Chi Mu Mu Foundation is committed to empowering vulnerable communities in London through various initiatives. Events play a key role in raising funds, increasing awareness, and engaging with the community. We need a dedicated and organized individual to help us manage and execute successful events. What we need:
Plan and manage fundraising events, including galas, charity runs, and community drives. Organise non-fundraising events such as educational workshops, networking gatherings, and awareness campaigns. Coordinate logistics, venues, suppliers, and schedules to ensure seamless execution. Collaborate with our leadership team and volunteers to align event objectives with our mission. (Bonus) Manage social media promotion and marketing for events, creating engaging content to attract attendees and supporters.
Deliverables:
A well-structured event calendar with fundraising and non-fundraising activities. Successful execution of events, ensuring positive experiences for attendees. Event reports outlining outcomes, impact, and areas for improvement.
Collaboration: You will work closely with our leadership team, volunteers, and external partners to ensure successful event execution and promotion. Flexibility: This role is adaptable based on your expertise and availability. We welcome volunteers who can contribute on an ongoing basis or take on specific events.
What are we looking for?
We are looking for an organized and creative individual with experience in event planning, coordination, or nonprofit fundraising. The ideal volunteer should be able to manage multiple projects, work well with teams, and have excellent communication skills. Experience in social media marketing is a plus.
