Mind, a forceful advocate for mental health, is on the lookout for a dynamic team member to join its Community and Events Fundraising team. This team crafts unforgettable fundraising events and initiatives, creating a community of lifetime supporters for this pivotal cause.

Role Summary:

  • Act as a versatile player in the fundraising team and contribute to reaching £10.8 million NET income target by 2024.
  • Slot into sub-teams as needed to facilitate strategy and capacity changes.
  • Develop tight-knit relationships with internal stakeholders across Mind for efficient activity delivery.


Role Requirements:

  • Aid in gathering content for media and digital teams.
  • Attend supporter-led and third-party events to deepen supporter relationships.
  • Assist the Senior Fundraising Officer in delivering Community Fundraising activities, including planning, content creation, web page creation, and analysing ongoing activities.

About the team We have big goals over the next few years. We're going to be fighting for mental health in a way we never have before. The Community and Events Fundraising team designs and delivers memorable fundraising experiences that raises millions of pounds and turns one-time participants in to lifetime supporters.

The role You will play a pivotal role in the Community and Events Fundraising team reaching and exceeding their target of circa £10.8 million NET income by 2024. You will be an adaptable and flexible member of the Community and Events fundraising team, able to move and slot in to sub-teams to help deliver changes in capacity and strategy. You will form strong working relationships with internal stakeholders across Mind, following briefing processes and ways of working to ensure the efficient delivery of activity.

Job requirements You will help gather content for the media and digital teams through the relationships you develop with our supporters. You will attend supporter led and third-party events to help enhance our supporters experience and deepen their relationship with Mind. You will support the Senior Fundraising Officer in the delivery of Community Fundraising activity. This can include planning, writing and submitting briefs, generating marketing and stewardship communications, working with third party agencies, setting up web pages, reporting and analysing live activity and conducting evaluations.
