We are looking to add two Trustees to our board to continue the excellent work of the team. Previous experience is not essential however if you have a background in finance that would be useful

What will you be doing?

Trustee Duties

Act in the charity’s best interests Manage the charity’s resources responsibly Act with reasonable care and skill, taking appropriate advice when required Attend board meetings as well as attend project visits where required  Support key decisions around strategic direction of the charity Applicants should be passionate about working for the good of young people and changing views and outlooks An effective communicator, tactful and diplomatic Integrity, Strategic Vision and good/independent judgement, forming decisions for the good of the charity

What are we looking for?

Applicants should be passionate about working for the good of young people and changing views and outlooks An effective communicator, tactful and diplomatic Integrity, Strategic Vision and good/independent judgement, forming decisions for the good of the charity. Applicants need to have at least three years experience in one or more of the following areas:

Financial accounts and bookkeeping Marketing and publicity  Legal and secretarial knowledge 

What difference will you make?

Applicants will be decision makers for the future of the charity and therefore impact the lives of all those who the charity supports. The future development of the charity will also be driven by trustees who will suppport expanding the services to support other groups of young people not currently addressed both in the Wycombe area and beyond.
