Role Summary

Role Requirements

  • Strong understanding of digital marketing principles and best practices.
  • Expertise in email marketing, paid media, website and conversion rate optimization, and integrated campaigns.
  • Excellent writing, communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Fundraising experience, Salesforce CRM and Salesforce Marketing Cloud familiarity, mobile app experience are beneficial.

We are the Campaign Against Living Miserably (CALM) - a suicide prevention charity fighting to reduce the devastating impact of suicide in the UK. We run a life-saving helpline for anyone affected by suicide or suicidal thoughts, and our website has loads of tools and resources packed with practical advice. We also run vital campaigns to increase awareness, smash stereotypes, and change the culture around mental health and suicide.

As the Digital Marketing Lead, you will be responsible for supporting the whole organisation through the creation of a digital engagement strategy. This involves identifying any leaks across the marketing funnel and plugging these, as well as looking for opportunities, enabling us to attract and sustain more support - whether through time, money, or voice. You will spearhead our digital engagement strategy, ensuring every audience touchpoint reflects our brand and mission, and leads to results. You will also design and implement multi-channel campaigns that deepen our understanding of and engagement with supporters.

Job requirements include a strong understanding of digital marketing principles and best practices, extensive expertise in email marketing, paid media, website and conversion rate optimisation, and integrated campaigns. Excellent writing, communication and interpersonal skills are also required. Fundraising experience, prior knowledge of Salesforce CRM and Salesforce Marketing Cloud, and mobile app experience are beneficial.

Benefits include unlimited annual leave, Healthcare cash plan, 6% pension contribution, therapeutic services (after completion of probation), hybrid working & nine day fortnight. The role is based in London Waterloo twice a week (Wednesdays and Thursdays) / Remote Working (Mon, Tues & Fri), 9.30am - 5.30pm.
