Renaissance Philanthropy is dedicated to fueling a 21st century renaissance by increasing the ambition of philanthropists, scientists, and innovators. Our goal is to activate a virtuous loop of increasing ambition and impact between philanthropists and innovators by identifying frontier experts in science and new problem-solving methods, tapping into the emerging philanthropist community, and building multi-sector initiatives that leverage the power of philanthropy, markets, and governments.
The Policy Entrepreneurs Network (PEN) is a non-partisan community for learning and practice aimed at policy entrepreneurs. It involves recruiting annual cohorts of Fellows, organizing biannual PEN Retreats, and providing workshops and resources to enhance member effectiveness.
As a Community Manager, you will organize the Policy Entrepreneurs Network, manage the admissions process for new Fellows, plan and execute exceptional events, and support a community of skilled policy entrepreneurs. This role requires a high level of taste and judgement, a penchant for community-building, and a curiosity about policy entrepreneurship. Experience working in or alongside government or public policy, especially on Capitol Hill, is highly preferred.
You will be responsible for Fellow admissions and community engagement, planning and delivering PEN events, and maintaining operational tools and processes that support PEN's work. Your success in this role will be measured by your ability to build a thriving, engaged community, lead professional admissions processes, and implement reliable systems that allow PEN to scale effectively.
Renaissance Philanthropy values diversity and is committed to creating an inclusive environment for all employees. We encourage candidates from diverse backgrounds to apply.
