First Mile is dedicated to making a significant impact in the environmental sector through innovative recycling and waste management solutions. We are looking for a Sales Development Representative to join our dynamic Business Development team.

The role: As a Sales Development Representative, your primary responsibility will be to prospect, qualify, and generate new high-value sales leads to support the Business Development team. You will develop new business prospects from multiple sources including databases, prospect lists, discovery, and individual research, aiming to reach decision-makers to ensure monthly activity, pipeline, and handover goals are achieved. This will support the achievement of budgeted sales targets by the business development teams.

Job requirements: The ideal candidate will be a self-starter with high energy and a friendly, positive attitude. You should possess advanced communication skills, be goal-oriented, and have the ability to engage audiences effectively. Proficiency in MS Office products and experience with Salesforce or another CRM software is preferred. A proven track record of strong client relationships and meeting or exceeding sales quotas is essential.

Benefits: We offer a competitive salary starting from £28,000 up to £35,000, with the potential to earn up to 50% of your base salary as part of our sales bonus scheme. While we don’t offer unlimited vacation or a ball pit, we provide 25 days of holiday plus bank holidays, and an extra day for each complete year of service. Additionally, you will receive a monthly budget to spend on personal enjoyment, whether it’s going to the cinema, buying perfume, or saving for a holiday. Our company also hosts events, talks, and socials throughout the year, with occasional Thursday drinks.
