The role: As a Front of House Assistant at Young V&A, you will play a pivotal part in providing an exceptional, hands-on, and joyful visitor experience with a sales through service approach. Responsibilities include greeting visitors, promoting products, maintaining display standards, selling in our shops, engaging in our galleries, upselling our membership scheme, selling tickets to our exhibitions, helping out with events, checking in schools, and looking after the learning studio and lunchroom admissions. You will also support the front of house volunteering programme to foster a one front of house team culture.
Job requirements: The role demands a proactive, engaging individual who can deliver an excellent visitor experience and effectively highlight our commercial offers. A commitment to the V&A's mission and the ability to work flexibly across various contracts (Full Time, Part Time, Zero Hour) are essential.
