What will you be doing?
Overview:We’re looking for a strategic, values-driven individual to join our board and help steer Compass Presents through its next stage of development. You’ll work closely with our executive team and fellow board members to shape strategy, support sustainability and growth, and ensure the organisation remains true to its inclusive, creative mission. Key Responsibilities:
Attend quarterly board meetings to review strategy, performance, and mission alignment Help shape long-term organisational direction, sustainability, and creative ambition Contribute expertise via working groups focused on key development areas Offer insight on audience development, communications, and stakeholder engagement Support fundraising and income generation through partnerships and funding sources Advise on governance, internal processes, and evaluation frameworks
What We’re Looking For:
A commitment to inclusive, participatory arts Experience in at least one of the following: strategy, fundraising, finance, communications Strong communication and critical thinking skills Collaborative and comfortable working in a small, passionate team Alignment with Compass Presents’ values

What are we looking for?
A commitment to the arts and a belief in the power of participatory, inclusive culturalwork.
Experience in one or more key areas: strategy, communications, finance, or fundraising, or a clear desire to build your knowledge in these areas. Strong communication and analytical skills, with the ability to interpret information and contribute to decision-making. A collaborative approach, comfortable working in a small team and engaging with a range of stakeholders. Alignment with Compass Presents’ mission and values.
