The Organisation - ISSOS We are an international summer school offering a balanced summer program of academia, fun and culture for 13–18 year olds from over 80 nationalities, at Cambridge University. We aim to provide a high quality, full boarding summer school experience and we are committed to creating a safe, fun and enriching environment.
The Role - Outdoor Leadership Teacher As the Outdoor Leadership Teacher, you will develop and lead a unique 3-week course, which aims to help our students develop and build on essential life skills like communication, decision-making, teamwork and confidence. You will be teaching a class of international students, 3 hours per day, 4 afternoons per week for the duration of the 3-week programme. You will also be involved in evening activities on a compulsory rota basis and ensure that students are safe and happy at all times.
Job Requirements Previous teaching experience is essential. Experience in teaching leadership skills in some capacity and teaching international students is preferred. You must be fluent in English. We are looking for a clear and effective communicator who is enthusiastic, self-motivated and passionate about instilling a love for your subject in your students. You should be a team player who is willing to be involved in the wider summer school programme.
Benefits We offer a reimbursement of $2500 USD for the session. We also provide accommodation in all locations for all staff. Meals are provided in the halls of residence once students arrive, however, staff are responsible for their meals during Orientation. We also offer travel reimbursements and any finders’ fees are paid separately.

Additional Information All of our staff must pass a full criminal background check. All staff are required to be on duty (on a rota basis) for evening programmes, activities, day trips and arrival/departure days.
