The Role

We are seeking a highly organised, proactive, and eager-to-learn Operations & Community Officer to support internal operations and youth engagement.

This is an entry level role, ideal for someone with one year of agency experience, looking to develop skills in operations, production, and community engagement. The role combines general admin, office management, CRM upkeep, and youth outreach, supporting the smooth running of YBB’s day-to-day operations.

Who We Are

Youth Beyond Borders (YBB) is a next-generation creative company dedicated to empowering young people from under-represented communities across the UK. With over a decade of experience, we bridge the gap between organisations and young audiences through:

  • Social and Community impact programmes
  • Youth-led research and strategy
  • Event and short-form content production
  • Recruitment and talent consultancy

YBB operates as a social enterprise, with all profits donated to our sister charity, Football Beyond Borders (FBB). Our mission is to put young people first and help our partners engage with youth authentically.

Since launching in 2022, YBB has rapidly grown, impacting a community of 1,500+ young leaders and collaborating with leading brands such as Nike, JD Sports, Kurt Geiger, National Theatre, and Oxford University. With projected revenues exceeding £1 million this year, we are scaling rapidly and need strong operational support to continue our growth.

Your Day-to-Day:

Operations & Office Management

  • Oversee CRM management, data entry, and general admin tasks.
  • Support the office move and day-to-day office logistics.
  • Act as a general resource for the team, assisting with operational needs.

Community Engagement & Network Growth

  • Build and maintain relationships with young creatives.
  • Recruit community members for brand projects and research.
  • Support the delivery of outreach opportunities for our youth community and brand partners.

Project Delivery & Production Assistance

  • Provide production support across YBB projects, including event coordination, guestlist management, media production, and logistics.
  • Assist in programme execution and team coordination.

Digital Marketing & CRM Support

  • Maintain and track engagement metrics within YBB’s CRM.
  • Communicate opportunities weekly via CRM and social media.

What We Are Looking For:

  • 1+ year experience in agency operations, admin, or production.
  • Highly organised, with strong initiative and problem-solving skills.
  • Passion for youth culture and creative industries.
  • Ability to collaborate with teams and take ownership of tasks.
  • Interest in mentoring and empowering young people.

Why Join Us?

  • Be part of a dynamic, purpose-driven team dedicated to community, purpose and creativity.
  • Gain hands-on experience in agency operations and production.
  • Opportunities for growth and professional development.
  • At YBB, we’re not just delivering programmes—we’re transforming lives. You’ll join a values-led team that champions collaboration, creativity and youth voice at every turn. Be part of a movement that’s redefining what’s possible for young people across the UK.
