The Role: This role is responsible for the accurate and timely reconciliation of daily income transactions across multiple systems including Galaxy, CRM, Business Central, and Learn World. It involves preparing and posting payment journals for various bank accounts, managing regular and ad hoc membership-related transactions, and investigating discrepancies between system data and bank receipts. Daily preparation and reconciliation of transactions through Galaxy (exhibitions, membership events, Group Sales on Web, V&A Academy etc), CRM (memberships including patrons, grants etc), BC (bricks & mortar retail, ecommerce etc) & Learn World to income received in the bank via credit cards (Adyen, Paypal, Verifone) and direct settlement within finance system (Business Central). Prepare monthly sales invoice to transfer membership sales made through shop (VAE) to (VAM) Lead weekly meetings with relevant key stakeholders (Assistant Group Accountant, Ticketing Team, Contact Centre, Membership & Development teams and the Cash Processing Manager) to understand and resolve any discrepancies. Support the interim and final audit processes and assist with monthly bank reconciliations, working closely with the Finance Operations Manager to resolve reconciling items.
