What will you be doing?
Make a difference for cats and people! At Cats Protection, volunteers are at the heart of everything we do. As a Recruitment Support Volunteer, you’ll play a vital role in connecting passionate individuals with opportunities to help cats in the Mid Wales area. Your work will ensure local teams have the volunteers they need to make a real impact. While this role is primarily remote, it’s important that you’re based in Mid Wales to help foster strong community connections and support in-person events What You’ll Do
Promote volunteer opportunities and roles Advertise and manage recruitment campaigns Oversee applications and match volunteers to suitable role Meet potential volunteers and provide information Foster a culture of best practices in volunteering

Communication & People Skills – Ability to engage with and inspire potential volunteers Organisational Skills – Managing recruitment processes and keeping records Marketing & Promotion – Experience in advertising or promoting roles is helpful Teamwork & Leadership – Working collaboratively with volunteer groups Basic IT Skills – Using emails, online platforms, and databases Friendly & Approachable – Making potential volunteers feel welcome Passionate About Animal Welfare – A genuine love for cats and the charity’s mission Proactive & Motivated – Taking initiative and keeping recruitment efforts moving Inclusive & Supportive – Encouraging a diverse and positive volunteer culture
