The role involves developing expertise in cloud-native ground segment architectures and working with industry partners to implement state-of-the-art cloud-native architectures. The successful candidate will initially serve as a software developer, advancing to roles such as architect or product owner. Duties include overseeing the specification, design, and development of the platform, enhancing knowledge in cloud native technologies, agile methodologies, and industrial processes.

Job requirements include a Master's degree in information technology or a related discipline and between two and three years of professional experience. Knowledge and understanding of cyber security matters and experience with Artificial Intelligence techniques are also required.

The successful candidate will benefit from an extensive learning and development programme, including technical and key skills training courses. There is also a mobility component to the Junior Professional Programme that can include an internal rotation to another team within ESA, an external secondment outside of ESA, or a combination of both.
