The European Space Agency(ESA) is seeking a dynamic leader for its Frequency Management Office. This is an extraordinary opportunity to work with a range of missions in the iconic space industry.
Role Summary:
• Taking leadership as Head of the ESA Frequency Management Office.
• Reporting to the Head of the Space Safety Programme Office.
• Overseeing agency's frequency management activities with support from a team of frequency management officers and external corporate personnel.

Role Requirements:
• A Master's degree in Engineering or Physics.
• Experience in satellite frequency selection, international coordination, ITU filling, and station licensing.
• Potential for managing individuals and teams, organising activities, and promoting a motivating work environment.
• Strong leadership and communication abilities, with a record of managing relationships.

We are looking for a Head of the ESA Frequency Management Office. The ESA Frequency Management Office is responsible for the frequency management of all ESA missions from the initial planning phase to routine mission operations up to the end of the mission.

The Role: You will be assigned as Head of the ESA Frequency Management Office (FMO), reporting hierarchically to the Head of the Space Safety Programme Office. You will be responsible for the Agency’s frequency management activities, functionally supported by a team of frequency management officers and by a number of staff from external companies, and will interact with experts from other directorates in accordance with the missions they represent.

Job Requirements: A master's degree in engineering or physics is required for this post. Experience in satellite frequency selection, international coordination, ITU filing and stations licensing is also required. You should also have the potential to manage individuals or a team, the ability to organise individual and team activities and ensure a motivating work environment. Strong leadership capabilities, with proven relationship management and communication skills are also necessary.
