What will you be doing?

Supporting Healthcare Heroes UK (SHH-UK) is the only UK-wide charity dedicated to standing with healthcare workers. Since its founding in 2023, SHH-UK has been at the forefront of efforts to prevent Covid, support those living with Long Covid, and influence national policy to improve healthcare workers' lives. We are seeking a volunteer Social Media Content Creator to help amplify our mission and reach. By dedicating just 3-4 hours a week, you will play a critical role in raising awareness and fostering engagement around Long Covid and the challenges faced by healthcare workers. Key Responsibilities:

Creating and publishing compelling social media content that aligns with SHH-UK's vision and governance policies. Producing visually engaging posts, infographics, and other media using tools like Canva or Adobe Creative Suite. Developing content tailored to each social media platform, ensuring adherence to best practices. Collaborating with SHH-UK's Trustee leads for social media to plan and execute content strategies.

What are we looking for?

Proven Experience: A track record of creating impactful social media content and understanding the nuances of different platforms. Design Skills: Proficiency in graphic design tools to produce professional-quality visuals. Strategic Mindset: Knowledge of social media best practices, trends, and audience engagement techniques. Team Spirit: A collaborative approach to working with SHH-UK’s team. Commitment: A passion for SHH-UK’s mission and availability to meet the weekly time requirement.

What difference will you make?

Your work will increase SHH-UK’s visibility, inspire community action, and provide vital information to healthcare workers and the wider public. By effectively conveying our message, you will help shape perceptions, drive support, and build a stronger network of allies for those living with Long Covid.
