Job Overview

We’re looking for a Product Manager to lead the vision, strategy, and execution of Internal Tools and AI-powered operational enablement at Coursera.

This role is housed within one of the high-performing and high-impact teams at Coursera—a cross-functional group that operates like a skunkworks unit. We move fast, tackle high-stakes problems, and build solutions that change the way the entire organization operates.

As Product Manager, you won’t just “improve processes”—you’ll be expected to:

  1. Drive transformative ideas that shift internal narratives and unlock step-function improvements in how Coursera works.

  2. Move with high velocity, showing strong bias for action, clarity in ambiguity, and an internal drive to make an outsized impact.

You’ll work with stakeholders across every function—from Enterprise Business, Marketing, Legal, HR, Finance, to Content Ops, Services, and Customer Support—to build powerful, scalable internal products.

Your portfolio will include tools and systems that help teams:

  • Operate efficiently
  • Launch new initiatives faster
  • Unlock previously untapped business opportunities

Integrate cutting-edge AI (agents, RAG, MCP, agent orchestration)

Your work will directly impact how teams across Coursera execute, collaborate, and scale.

What You’ll Do

  • Define Strategy & Roadmap: Own the product vision and quarterly roadmap for internal tools and AI enablement across the company.
  • Build AI-Powered Systems: Integrate emerging technologies—LLMs, agents, RAG, LangChain, vector DBs—to automate and augment internal workflows.
  • Serve All Teams: Build tools for internal users across Enterprise Sales, Marketing, Legal, HR, Finance, Services, Content, Support, and more.
  • Platform Thinking: Design systems that are scalable, modular, API-first, and enable reuse across different business units.
  • End-to-End Execution: Write crisp product requirements, prioritize ruthlessly, and work with engineers, designers, and cross-functional teams to deliver.
  • Launch & Drive Adoption: Roll out tools, track usage and performance, and ensure solutions drive meaningful business impact.
  • Continuously Innovate: Constantly identify opportunities to eliminate toil, automate repetitive tasks, and turn operational pain points into leverage.
  • Collaboration with Technical Teams: Work closely with AI/ML engineers, infra leads, and data platform owners to align on road maps.

You’ll Be a Great Fit If You...

  • Have 7+ years of product management experience—ideally in internal tools, platforms, or cross-functional business enablement.
  • Are excited about AI and have experience or strong interest in building products using AI agents, RAG, vector databases, multi-agent systems, etc.
  • Thrive in high-velocity environments and know how to execute with speed and focus.
  • Bring a builder’s mindset and treat internal users with the same care as end customers.
  • Are a strategic thinker and tactical executor—you zoom out to reshape how teams work, and zoom in to write great PRDs and track key metrics.
  • Love understanding complex internal workflows and simplifying them through elegant product solutions.
  • Are a clear communicator who builds trust across teams and drives alignment in ambiguous, fast-moving environments.
  • Have experience working across multiple functions (Legal, Finance, HR, etc.) and building tools for a diverse set of users.
  • Are deeply motivated by Coursera’s mission of transforming lives through learning—starting with transforming how we work internally.

Nice to Have

  • Experience working with low-code/no-code automation tools (e.g., Retool, Salesforce, ServiceNow).
  • Technical background or familiarity with API design, data modeling, and enterprise architecture.
  • Exposure to internal developer platforms or internal enablement tooling in high-growth environments.
