What will you be doing?

We want to develop a social media plan to reach out to potential followers (teenagers, parents, teachers, sports coaches) to let them know about us, and then engage them with compelling content and educational resources to about girls bodies in sport. We need help from a social media specialist,  who understands how to build a following, shape our messaging and  translate our mission into compelling stories and campaigns that inspire action. You will have lots of support from the CEO, Head of Operations, branding and copy writers.  This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a pioneering movement in grassroots sport and make a genuine difference to the lives of girls and women across the UK.

What are we looking for?

You’re a skilled communicator, a social media specialist who enjoys the challenge of building an online community. You’re confident with social media,  (TikTok,Instagram, Bluesky, Facebook, LinkedIn) - both in how they work, but importantly in creating a plan as to how to use these channels properly to build our online community.  This role is really important to us and pivotal to the growth of our organisation.  The ideal candidate will be: 

Experienced in digital communications and social media management  

Strategic and creative, enjoy planning out how we should do things to achieve maximum impact  

Self motivated, happy to work independently at a time that works for you and then feed back when suits  Passionate about sharing knowledge, promoting gender equity, women's health, grassroots sport or just staying happy and active  Positive, flexible, and collaborative — with a good sense of humour!

Your role is central to this as you will use your communications expertise and experience to develop our message, build and shape our online community. We can't do this without you. You will be supported, listened to and your insights and expertise hugely valued. By joining our small team, you will contribute your expertise and talent to communicate and inspire our community of followers to take action - both to improve their health, but also to support us in translating latest evidence in female health into action in playing fields, gyms, schools, clubs and leisure centres across the UK.
