Role Summary

  • Play a pivotal role in boosting Pod Point's online sales as an E-Commerce Lead.
  • Optimise digital experiences and conversion rates across all e-commerce channels.
  • Lead the development and execution of a results-driven e-commerce strategy to increase revenue, attract new customers and improve retention.
  • Manage daily trading activities including merchandising, pricing, promotions, and inventory to maximise sales and profitability.

Role Requirements

  • Proven experience in e-commerce management within a DTC or omnichannel retail environment.
  • Strong commercial acumen with expertise in online trading, merchandising, and digital performance optimisation.
  • Hands-on experience with e-commerce platforms (Shopify, Big Commerce, Magento etc.) and analytics tools (Google Analytics, GA4, Looker, etc.)

Pod Point, the UK's leading electric vehicle (EV) charging provider, is looking for an E-Commerce Lead to join our team. We've been at the forefront of the EV charging industry since 2009, installing over 250,000 charge points and partnering with top automotive and energy brands. As our E-Commerce Lead, you will play a key role in leading Pod's online sales growth by optimising digital experiences and conversion rates across e-commerce channels. You will be responsible for leading the development and delivery of a results-driven e-commerce strategy to grow revenue, attract new customers, and boost retention. You will also manage daily trading, including merchandising, pricing, promotions, and inventory, to maximise sales and profitability.

We're looking for someone with proven experience in e-commerce management within a direct-to-consumer (DTC) or omnichannel retail environment. You should have strong commercial acumen with expertise in online trading, merchandising, and digital performance optimisation. Hands-on experience with e-commerce platforms (Shopify, Big Commerce, Magento etc.) and analytics tools (Google Analytics, GA4, Looker, etc.) is also required.
