As a Partnerships and Innovation Associate, your work will revolve around donor partnership stewardship in DRC. Your job is to facilitate program growth via innovation, fundraising, grant management, research, and partnership development. You will be a part of the DRC team under the country leadership, with a connection to the Business Development team. This role is based in Kinshasa.
The role requires 5+ years in donor relations, program development or partnerships. Key skills include managing complex grants, strategic relationship building, and excellent writing and communication skills in French and English. Having solid project management skills, capacity to handle various priorities, and experience in development sector would be advantageous.

One Acre Fund supports a work permit for this role. Preference is given to nationals or those with extensive professional history in our operational countries. We recruit on a ongoing basis until a hire is made.

The Role As Partnerships and Innovation Associate, you will help drive high-quality stewardship of a major donor partnership in DRC while shaping the program's long-term growth through innovation and fundraising. You will combine grant management, donor engagement, research, and partnership development. You will be a part of the DRC team, reporting to the DRC country leadership team, with a dotted-line connection to the Business Development team. This role is based in Kinshasa and is expected to be onsite.
Job Requirements 5+ years of experience in donor relations, partnerships, or program development. Proven ability to manage complex grants and build strategic relationships. Strong writing and communication skills in French and English. Solid project management skills and ability to juggle multiple priorities. Experience in the development sector, ideally with public or institutional donors.
