What will you be doing?

Join St John Ambulance as a County Quality Assurance Lead and play a pivotal role in championing excellence, driving improvement, and supporting the delivery of safe, effective care across your county. This leadership role is ideal for someone who values high standards, has an eye for detail, and enjoys supporting teams to succeed. You’ll work closely with the County Commissioner, the County Council, and local operational leads to develop and maintain quality assurance processes. You will lead assurance activities, such as audits and compliance checks, using standardised tools and reporting formats, helping to identify areas for improvement and share best practices. Your responsibilities will include providing regular assurance reports, supporting the learning from audit findings, and ensuring that processes align with national standards. You will also facilitate training and raise awareness across the county to embed a culture of continuous improvement. A key part of your role will be to maintain strong links with the national Quality and Safety Team and ensure local activities reflect national priorities and learning.
