The role

As a Creative Developer- react native, at Fanalysis, you'll be the artistic force behind our mobile application's most captivating features. Your mission is to transform our platform into a dynamic, visually stunning experience that delights football fans and elevates their connection to the sport they love. You'll blend technical expertise with creative vision to craft animations, interactions, and UI flourishes that make our app truly memorable.

Responsibilities

• Designing and implementing eye-catching animations and micro-interactions that enhance the user experience
• Creating innovative visual effects and transitions that bring our app to life
• Collaborating with designers and engineers to push the boundaries of what's possible in mobile interfaces
• Optimizing animations for performance across various devices while maintaining visual fidelity
• Developing reusable component libraries that incorporate motion and interactivity
• Implementing creative solutions for data visualization and user engagement features
• Prototyping experimental features and interaction patterns
• Staying current with design trends and animation techniques in mobile development
• Adding thoughtful details and polish that surprise and delight users
• Maintaining a balance between creative expression and usability
• Contributing to the overall product vision with a focus on emotional engagement

About you

• 3+ years of experience with React Native development
• Exceptional portfolio demonstrating creative animations and interactive elements in mobile applications
• Strong proficiency in JavaScript/TypeScript and React Native animation libraries (Animated, Reanimated, Lottie)
• Experience with gesture handling and advanced user interactions
• Deep understanding of mobile UI/UX principles and best practices
• Ability to write clean, performant code that doesn't compromise visual quality
• Knowledge of SVG animations and creative coding techniques
• Experience with design tools like Figma, Sketch, or Adobe Creative Suite
• Eye for detail and passion for pixel-perfect implementation
• Ability to transform abstract creative concepts into technical solutions
• Strong communication skills to articulate design decisions and technical approaches
• Experience collaborating with designers, developers, and product managers
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Design, or equivalent practical experience
• Passion for creating emotionally engaging digital experiences
• Interest in football culture is a plus — you'll be crafting experiences for passionate fans

This is a full-time role based in London. Our office is in Soho and we believe in the benefits of working together, so ideally you’d be able to join us in the office at least 3 days a week.
