Role Summary

Role Requirements
- A decade of experience in research, evaluation, or implementation.
- Understanding of Singapore and Asia’s policy and practice landscape.
- Experience in senior leadership and stakeholder engagement.
- Postgraduate qualification in Psychology, Health, Social Science, or a related field.
- Demonstrated skills in managing complex projects and securing business opportunities.

About the role As Director – Singapore, you will co-lead the strategic direction and drive the success of CEI’s operations in Singapore and the broader Asia region. You’ll lead a talented local team of 11 staff – including senior roles such as Associate Director and Principal Advisor – delivering high-quality research, evaluation, and implementation support. You'll work closely with the CEO, Global Managing Director, and collaborate with global colleagues across Australia, the UK, and Norway.

Job requirements 10+ years in research, evaluation, or implementation, with a consulting mindset. Strong networks and understanding of Singapore and Asia’s policy and practice landscape. Proven experience in senior leadership, stakeholder engagement, and team growth. A commitment to equity, innovation, and evidence-based decision-making. Excellent communication and relationship-building skills. A postgraduate qualification (or equivalent) in Psychology, Health, Social Science, or a related field. Deep expertise in quantitative and/or mixed-methods research and implementation science. A strong track record in managing complex projects and securing business opportunities. Emotional intelligence, flexibility, and alignment with CEI’s values and mission.
