As an Audience & Marketing Manager, you will:
- Participate in the strategic development and execution of audience growth and marketing campaigns.
- Recommend and carry out marketing strategies that generate revenue for the organization.
- Work across various teams to expand and diversify TED's top-of-funnel audiences.
The ideal candidate will have:
- A degree in commerce, administration, communications or a similar discipline, or equivalent experience.
- 3-5 years of customer support experience, preferably in an events-related industry.
- Experience in using CRMs for customer data and support management.
- Proficiency with Google/Microsoft Suite applications.
- The ability to handle multiple projects and tasks.

The Role The Audience & Marketing Manager participates in the strategic development and execution of innovative, data-driven audience growth and marketing campaigns. They will sit within the Audience Strategy & Growth team and focus on expanding and diversifying TED’s audiences at the top-of-funnel, nurturing their engagement and identifying ways to build their loyalty. They’ll work closely with teams across media, events and business units to recommend and execute marketing strategies that drive revenue for TED.
Job Requirements Degree (preferred) or diploma in commerce, administration, communications or similar discipline, or similar experience. 3-5 years of customer support experience, both in-person and online. Experience using CRMs to effectively manage customer data, communications, and customer support. Experience working in events or similar industry (ex. theater, TV, etc). Extensive knowledge of Google applications / Microsoft suite (especially Excel / Sheets). Tech-savvy, fast learner of new tools. Meticulous attention to detail. Able to perform repetitive tasks with consistency and accuracy. Ability to pivot and prioritize simultaneous projects based on urgency. Quantitative and qualitative analytical and problem-solving skills. Must be able to commute to the NYC office for meetings and events as well as travel internationally as needed.
