Role Summary:

- Experience with loans, acquisitions, or documentation processes is advantageous

Join the British Museum's Collection Documentation team in a key coordinating role. As Collection Coordinator, you'll support the Museum's acquisitions and long-term loans by managing object entry, updating records, and ensuring all documentation meets professional standards. You'll work closely with curatorial, registration, inventory, and collection care colleagues to keep processes running smoothly, maintain accurate records, and help deliver the Museum's programme of acquisitions, loans, and documentation activities across the world.
About you: We're looking for someone with strong administrative skills, excellent attention to detail, and confidence working with collection management systems. You'll be highly organized, able to prioritize multiple tasks, and comfortable working collaboratively across teams. You bring excellent communication skills, an understanding of museum documentation standards (including Spectrum), and the ability to maintain accuracy and consistency under pressure. Experience with loans, acquisitions, or documentation processes is a strong advantage.
