The British Museum is seeking a Senior Project Manager for Exhibitions and Temporary Display. This is a full-time, permanent role, offering a competitive salary of £48,144 per annum.

The role: As a Senior Project Manager, you will manage the successful delivery of all aspects of major exhibitions and display projects in the British Museum’s world-class exhibition programme. You will oversee projects from inception to closure and evaluation, in line with the Museum’s Exhibition Strategy and project processes. Your responsibilities will include developing and managing multi-disciplinary project teams, managing project budgets, schedules, and objectives, and contributing to the selection process of outside contractors and consultants for nominated projects.

Job requirements: You should have a degree in a relevant subject, or equivalent experience, along with a project management qualification. Experience in managing complex public facing projects, involving multi-disciplined teams is essential. Excellent organisation and communication skills are required, along with the ability to drive projects with multiple diverse elements. You should have a proven track record of building relationships across teams and departments, and externally with other organisations.
