Code First Girls is striving to eliminate the gender disparity in the tech sector by providing job opportunities through free education. With the goal of generating one million opportunities for women to learn coding and enter the industry within five years, our objective is to become the world's inaugural EdTech unicorn dedicated exclusively to women. We have so far enabled over 200,000 women to learn to code and are in collaboration with companies worldwide to enhance employability and diversity, while also transforming local economies and communities.

Role Summary

  • Provide support to our learners and wider community through their application process and while enrolled in our courses.
  • Act as the first point of contact for support, helping us maintain a safe, responsive and inclusive environment.
  • Handle support tickets, resources updates and process improvements with a proactive attitude.

ABOUT THE COMPANY Code First Girls is on a mission to close the gender gap in the tech industry by providing employment through free education. Our aim is to provide one million opportunities for women to learn to code and participate in the industry in the next five years, becoming the world’s first EdTech unicorn dedicated to women.

THE ROLE As a Community Support Intern, you’ll play a key role in ensuring that our learners and wider community feel supported through their applications to our programmes and while on our courses. You'll be the first port of call for support, helping us maintain a safe, responsive, and inclusive environment. You'll be answering support tickets, updating resources, or improving our internal processes, you’ll bring a proactive attitude and a genuine desire to make things better for our community.
