Volunteer Senior Collections Officer - Hertfordshire

What will you be doing?

The volunteer will contact Community Bank members who appear to be struggling to repay their loans and identify their issues so that they can manage their finances better and avoid falling into debt.  Additionally they will analyse figures of members in arrears as a member of our Credit Committee.

What are we looking for?

We are looking for someone who can be professional, and also empathetic in relating to others, and expect you to have worked in financial services in direct contact with customers, ideally in a lending or collections role.

What difference will you make?

Borrowers will be encouraged to overcome their financial issues and enabled to use the affordable loan they have been given by the Community Bank in ways to benefit their families and avoid falling into debt or into the hands of loan sharks.
