What will you be doing?

Role Overview: As a Digital Support Volunteer, you will help Almanaar strengthen its online communication, engagement, and fundraising efforts. You will work closely with the core team to manage social media, update the website, and support digital fundraising campaigns.   Responsibilities: Video / Graphic Design

Assist in creating graphics for social media posts, leaflets and other formats Assist in videos production, and other multimedia content.

Social Media Management

Create, schedule, and publish posts across Facebook, Instagram, Twitter/X, and LinkedIn. Monitor engagement, respond to comments/messages, and grow our online community.

Website Updates

Update event listings, news articles, and other content on the Almanaar website. Help maintain an up-to-date and user-friendly website. Support with reports, newsletters, and new resources.

Digital Fundraising

Assist with promoting donation campaigns online. Support in setting up fundraising pages (e.g., JustGiving, LaunchGood). Help draft engaging fundraising messages for social media and newsletters.

What are we looking for?

We are looking for someone who has previous experience in:

Social media management (Facebook, Instagram, Twitter/X, LinkedIn). Experience with website content writing and editing. Interest in digital fundraising and community campaigns. Good written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to craft compelling content and engage with diverse stakeholders Creating and managing Newsletters Creativity and attention to detail. Self-motivated, proactive, and capable of working independently  Experience with Canva, Mailchimp, SEO,  Experience in any online fundraising platforms Graphic Design skills Video production/editing skills
