Volunteer Community Engagement Volunteer

What will you be doing?

The person will be proactive and strategic, seeking opportunities to build meaningful connections and promoting our volunteering roles in the community. From skills building work experience placements to just wanting to support a good cause, our volunteers come from all different backgrounds and we strive to create a welcoming, inclusive environment for all. 

What are we looking for?

We are looking for someone who is an excellent communicator and networker. A background in Marketing or Communications may be advantageous. 

What difference will you make?

This role supports Oxfam's poverty fighting work, helping our Southern hub to grow sustainable fashion operations. We can offer volunteers a range of roles to suit their needs and interests. Volunteers can develp their skills to support employability, confidence and wellbeing.  Our volunteers are at the heart of Oxfam's work, however our hub doesn't benefit from the usual footfall of high-street shops. We are looking to build a more diverse, inclusive volunteer team at our hub, with volunteers from all backgrounds.
