Volunteer Trustee with an interest in Mental Health Policy

What will you be doing?

Do you have an interest in Mental Health Policy? Do you have experience at a strategic level within the fields of Marketing, Research, Legal or Finance?  Then we would like to hear from you!!  We are currently looking for trustees to join our board and support us in achieving our mission for every individual in higher education and the workplace to have access to appropriate mental health support the moment they need it As a Trustee you will play a vital role in overseeing the governance of the charity. You will be working alongside a small but dedicated Board of Trustees with a diverse pool of skills and experience. You must be a good role model and be able to have the confident respect and support of the Chief Executive and the Charities staff team. The Board will meet approximately four times a year, alongside sub-groups comprising Strategy, Planning, Finance & HR. The meetings are generally during the evenings but occasional weekend meetings may be required. To apply for the role applicants must be sympathetic to the aims and objectives of Grae Matta Foundation and ideally have some experience of ill mental health.

What are we looking for?

This is a highly rewarding and varied role, and we particularly encourage applicants with an extensive background in either Marketing & Communications, Research, Legal, Finance HR, Bid Writing or Fundraising. These are indeed challenging times so we need Trustees who are hands on and dedicated to making sure the Foundation survives these extremely challenging times. To apply for the role applicants must be sympathetic to the aims and objectives of Grae Matta Foundation and ideally have some experience of ill mental health with themselves or close friends and family.
