Volunteer Chief Executive Officer

What will you be doing?

The volunteer CEO will work with a small executive team and coordinate activities through various committees responsible for marketing, communications (social media and newsletter), education, and R&D.  Also with semi-autonomous ESTA chapters in five countries. The volunteer CEO will oversee the implementation of a new three-year strategic plan for growth. They will report formally to the ESTA Board and work from day to day with a small governance committee. We are a young organization and are sufficiently flexible to welcome the input of new ideas and methods.

What are we looking for?

Experience in middle/senior management, preferably with non-profit organizations Strong experience in public relations, marketing and fund-raising Knowledge of leadership and management principles  Experience in managing budgets Proven success working with a board of directors Entrepreneurial mindset with an innovative approach to business planning Ability to think and act strategically A dynamic and charismatic player who enjoys being the public face of an organization Exceptional verbal, written, and visual communication skills
