Through programs like The Earth Prize and The Earth Alliance, we connect students, educators, experts, mentors, and innovators worldwide—providing tools, visibility, and support to scale impactful solutions.

We are a small, international team working remotely across time zones, and we’re looking for an experienced Events Manager to lead the coordination and delivery of our online and occasional in-person events.

  • The Earth Alliance (debates, workshops, facilitator training)
  • The Earth Foundation (board meetings, planning sessions)
  • Working closely with our Head of Alliance, Media & Comms Manager, and The Earth Price Coordinator to make sure all events align with our mission and goals.
  • Coordinate speakers, tech platforms (Zoom, Discord, YouTube), and participants.
  • Maintain internal calendars and prepare relevant documentation.
  • Ensure each event runs smoothly, efficiently, and professionally, bringing energy, calm, and clarity to a fast-paced environment.

Requirements

  • Proven experience managing virtual events or complex meetings (nonprofit or education sector experience is a plus).
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills; detail-oriented and proactive.
  • Clear communicator, able to coordinate across teams, cultures, and time zones.
  • Proficient with Zoom, Google Calendar, Slack, Discord, YouTube, Notion.
  • Strong interest in youth empowerment and sustainability.

Preferred

  • Experience in environmental, youth-focused, or educational initiatives.
  • Familiarity with event promotion or post-event reporting.
  • Based in Europe or available to work during European hours.
  • Fluent in English
