Role Summary

  • Report to the Head of the Industrial Policy and Space Economy Division.

The European Space Agency is looking for a Graduate Trainee in Space Economy and Commerce. This is an exciting opportunity to join a dynamic team at the forefront of space economy and commerce.

The Role: As a Graduate Trainee, you will report to the Head of the Industrial Policy and Space Economy Division, and will be hosted at the European Space Policy Institute in Vienna, Austria. You will support the work of the Space Economy team and of the Commercialisation Department by running the secretariat of the ECSECO, with the support of ESPI. Your activities will include preparing and supporting meetings, managing applications and renewals of members, managing communication on ESCECO and its events, and being the point of contact for all members or applicants.

Job Requirements: You should have just completed, or be in the final year of your master’s degree in economics. You should have good interpersonal and communication skills and should be able to work in a multicultural environment, both independently and as part of a team. Knowledge of ESA and its programmes/projects is a plus.
