This unique opportunity invites you to manage and develop a team of over 10 Data Research Analysts, interfacing directly with MID Data Leaders, Global Process Owners, and the Global Data Director.
Role Summary:

Role Requirements:
- A Bachelor/Master’s degree in finance or business
- Professional degree like CA, CA-Inter, ICWA, or ICWA-Inter preferred
- 5+ years of professional work experience with strong people and project management skills
- Ability to communicate effectively with local and international teams
- Capability to take calls early or late nights once or twice a week
- Experience leading teams of 10+ people are an advantage
- Eagerness to work in a high-performance culture

The Morningstar Experience is looking for a Team Lead to oversee the management of the day-to-day activities for a sub-team of managed investment data (MID) that powers the Morningstar products and platforms. The Data Team Lead will work closely with Global Process Owners, MID Data Leaders and Global Data Director, as well as with the global stakeholders to ensure that all the agreed deliverables from the team are met, and that the team is fully equipped in terms of training and documentation.
The role entails managing and developing a team of 10+ Data Research Analysts by providing clear direction, establishing SMART goals, and optimizing resource allocation for processes/projects. The Team Lead will also be responsible for promoting LEAN Six Sigma tools and methodologies as an analyst framework for assessing the root cause of issues and improving processes.
Job requirements include a Bachelor/Master’s degree in finance/business with an exceptional academic record. Professional degree (CA, CA-Inter, ICWA, ICWA-Inter) preferred. 5+ years of professional work experience at various levels of seniority. Strong people and project management skills. Ability to effectively communicate with local and international teams. Proven experience optimizing processes. Eager and ready to work in a high-performance culture. Ability to take calls early or late nights once or twice a week. Prior experience leading teams of 10+ people will be an additional advantage. Demonstrated ability to develop talent.
